P4W Memorial Collective
The P4W Memorial Collective is a group of women ex-prisoners from P4W, and their abolitionist accomplices, working towards the creation of a permanent memorial garden and community space on the grounds of the Prison for Women (P4W), in Katarokwi/Kingston, Ontario. Through its work, the collective honours the women who lost their lives in P4W, and uplifts the stories of the women who survived.
CPEP Criminalization and Punishment Education Project
The Criminalization and Punishment Education Project (CPEP), started by students and professors at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, aims to bring critical criminologists and others together to identify key issues to be the focus of criminological inquiry, develop collaborative research projects, and plan and carry out related public education initiatives.
